Greetings from Cork, Ireland! As a passionate landscape photographer who adores exploring the rugged beauty of my homeland, finding a cozy retreat with essential amenities is crucial for me. The lodge I stayed at in the heart of Letterfrack was an absolute gem. Janet, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even researching store opening times for us on Easter Sunday.The warm and inviting atmosphere of the lodge, complemented by fabulous kitchen facilities, made our stay truly memorable. Despite a minor cleanliness issue in the bathroom, the overall experience felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff's friendliness and the lodge's perfect location near the National Park and local pubs added to the charm.In conclusion, my time at the lodge was thoroughly enjoyable, and I am grateful for the impeccable service and delightful accommodations provided.
